Ambulance Dispatcher
Duties and
responsibilities:

Answer emergency and nonemergency calls
·
Operate
radio, telephone, or computer equipment at emergency response centers
·
Receive reports from the public of crimes,
fires, and emergencies
·
Relay information to emergency response
personnel
·
Maintains contact with caller until
responders arrive
·
Question callers to determine their
information
·
Provide emergency medical instruction to callers
Education Requirements: The minimum educational requirement to become an ambulance dispatcher is a high school diploma.
